> ℹ️ **This document applies to devices running sid-OS® wit the ambibox charge controller (ambiSECC).**

> 📝 The device must be connected to the <u>**internet**</u> in order to be set up and controlled via the web UI.  
> 📝 Otherwise, you will not be able to log in to the web UI and/or the page may fail to load.

Step by Step Instruction

1. Plug an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port at the bottom of the wallbox.


2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your lokal network.

> ℹ️ DHCP must be enabled

The standard setting for the IP setting of the device is DHCP.


3. Start a web browser in the same network and enter the IP-address of the wallbox or [https://sid-os.local](http://sidos.local)  


4. The login screen is displayed


5. Enter the login data of your sid-OS® account or create a new one.
